Panda® Windows & Doors is a North Las Vegas–based American manufacturer of custom luxury window and door systems, operating two facilities totalling more than 100,000 square feet. Panda builds to order rather than to a catalog, which is exactly why we reach for them on Austin projects where a standard patio door simply won't do — a 40-foot pocketing wall, a postless corner that opens to nothing, a 16-foot pivot entry.
Multi-slide & lift and slide systems
Panda's multi-slide systems run on a recessed track and are not limited to a fixed panel count, which is what makes genuinely large openings possible:

Central Texas heat makes frame material a performance decision, not an aesthetic one. Panda builds across materials, including thermally broken aluminum systems that break the conductive path through the frame:

Large-Format Is an Install Problem
A 40-foot pocketing wall is only as good as the rough opening, the track set, and the level tolerance. Get any of the three wrong and the panels bind. This is not a first-time-install product.

Panda® questions we get asked
What's the difference between multi-slide, lift & slide, and folding?
A multi-slide stacks panels along a recessed track — the most common choice for a wide opening. Lift & slide hardware physically lifts the panel off its seal before it moves, which allows much heavier and larger panels with a tighter seal when closed. Folding (bi-fold) panels hinge together and fold accordion-style to one or both sides. Which one fits depends on your opening width, panel weight, and where the panels can go when open.
What is a pocketing system?
Instead of stacking the panels against a wall where you can still see them, a pocketing system slides them fully into a cavity inside the wall. The opening reads as completely uninterrupted. It requires the pocket to be planned into the framing, so it's far easier on new construction or a full remodel than as a retrofit.
Can you really do a corner with no post?
Yes — Panda builds 90° postless corner configurations where both walls of glass slide away and nothing remains at the corner. It requires structural coordination above the opening, which is a conversation to have with your builder or engineer early, not late.
Is aluminum a bad choice for Texas heat?
Untreated aluminum conducts heat, which is why thermally broken systems exist — a non-conductive barrier interrupts the path through the frame. Panda's thermally broken aluminum systems are built specifically for this. For west-facing elevations we'll also talk through glass packages, because in Central Texas the glass usually matters more than the frame.
Do you install Panda on commercial projects?
